Here's some colour concepts I did for my student film proposal, which we had to hand in today. I had a lot of fun doing these, I'm slowly learning that colour is not my bitter enemy. It can actually be a pretty cool guy when it wants to be :)

These look fantastic tone wise! Was your choice of pallet influenced by anything in particular?
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian! I was looking at a couple of the old Chuck Jones-era Looney Tunes layouts. They used a lot of pastel colours, particularly in the urban layouts :)

ReplyDeleteI love the retro urban New York style of the design. The colour pallets are working pretty nicely as well. Looks like it would shape up to be a great looking film. :)
